More windows!

May 14, 2008

Greetings!
I know it seems like every week I say it’s really taking shape, but a lot is happening. And it is really taking shape!

Sidewalk Superintending
The glass along the plaza deck and the copper eave trims are the most obvious, but if you look at the east end or the view from Marshall Court, you can see that the exposed concrete has been stained. It looks nice and earthy.

Out of Sight
Framing is complete for the Cry Room and music area and is proceeding to the elevator shaft. All the radiant floor heating tubes are getting connected. The first shipment of wood trim arrives today, and it will start appearing in the classrooms.  The West courtyard is ready for planting.

Tours
Look for me in the Hearth Room after all Saturday and Sunday Services for an inside view.

Volunteers
There was lots of activity last week. The Annex garage got organized, and the useful firewood moved up the hill.  This Saturday morning there will be more work on the exterior with Kurt Stege, plus dumpster filling and moving the playground fence with me. Show up between 8 and 11 a.m. with your favorite implements of destruction.
