Forum on Sunday
Most important, remember that there will be a forum this Sunday after the 11 a.m. service (about 12:30). The discussion will cover our updated facilities, financial situation, as well as all the latest building project news. Lunch will be served. Hope to see you there, but we will be webcasting it if can’t make it and want to listen in. Here's a link: http://www.fusmadison.org/live/liveservices.shtmlPreservation
Waiting for paint samples and electricians’ schedules.Building
Things are quiet in the new building for now, but the new strong roof joists are in in the A-wing, and walls are going up, double layered for sound control. We are ordering new accessible doors to match the original finish. They will have lever type knobs. The State inspector says accessibility trumps historical correctness. Next week will see the partial removal of the lower B wing floor.Stone Chippers
David is out of town for the next few weekends, but the sunshade and some tools
are in his office, along with eyewear and gloves for anyone who wants to put
in some time on the rockpile.
That's it for this week’s report... See you Sunday!
