Preservation Update
After examining the samples from the paint probe, we have narrowed the selection to four. They may be viewed in the back rows of the Auditorium. Feel free to share your opinions with the members of the Preservation Committee. There will not be a general vote.
The crews installing the ventilator will be working evenings next week to avoid the daytime heat in the attic.
Building
This week’s surprise was discovering that the ductwork that has to be lowered to lower the lower B Wing floor is embedded in 3 feet of concrete. The laborers from Findorff are managing to stay upbeat as they jackhammer away. The new floor should be poured next week, and then the walls can be framed. New doors are ordered as is the new office furniture.
The “Shop” is starting to work on the laminated rafters for the new auditorium.
