The last pour for the big wall was Wednesday, the 17th.
Hello Everyone!
Greetings from the orange walls, at least for today. The last pour of the
A Line wall is happening as I write this. Tomorrow the orange wall forms
come down, ending that era of construction.

Ivan the electrician is coming in tomorrow to put in some bulbs. As
the days get shorter, the dim lighting becomes more of a crisis. The
trim rings are in a further delay. The first manufacturer did not perform
to specifications, so we had to hire a new company this week. We
will bid a fond farewell to our dear “Genie” lift for the
interim.

Dirt is moving as the levels of under floor, sewers, air (bright
blue), and electrical pipes get placed before pouring the floor. Jip
Kalscheur, our electrician, is always three steps ahead. Today
he was asking me how many phones we want in the C wing classrooms. You
can see the outlines of rooms emerge: Education Hall, Classrooms, West
Courtyard. There is a smooth spot in the wall texture for the
Kitchen, which will have gypsum board walls.

The various utilities, air ducting, electrical and so on are being installed in the are before the floors are poured on top.

A look through the wall at workers on the interior of the addition. As the walls go up, it becomes more difficult to see what's happening.
