Parking at FUS This Winter

Here is a summary of our current parking policy and suggestions for visiting FUS.

Weekdays

The parking lot is going to be pretty tight, especially on Wednesday nights. We encourage you to carpool. If you do drive and our lot is full, try parking in doctors park. The VA lot only available Sundays.

Saturday Evenings

The Saturday Services and church school are bringing more cars. Again, try to carpool. Look in Marshall Court. We currently don't have permission to park at the VA lot on Saturdays. Please reserve the FUS lot ofr those who have DMV handicap parking permits or difficulty walking. Dopping off of passengers in encouraged.

Sunday Mornings

On Sunday mornings we encourage you to carpool and or park in the parking lot at the Veterans Administration Hospital on Overlook Terrace (map below). Doctors Park (on Marshall Court) is another good alternative. The FUS lot is reserved for those who can't easily walk and for drop offs. Permits are required. Also, if you have DMV handicapped tags for your car then you may automatically park anywhere in the FUS lot during construction without any additional permits. Wendy Cooper is happy to talk with anyone who has questions about parking. She can be reached 233-9774 ext 125.
