Renting the Meeting House
Please note that due to construction and remodeling
we are
unable to accomodate
facility rentals until the fall of 2008.
The First Unitarian Society is pleased to make its National Historic
Landmark Meeting House available to individuals and community
organizations
for meetings and celebrations. Because the preservation
of the facility
is costly, the Society has determined that all users of the
buildings shall share in some of the costs.
All
rentals and other non-Society uses of the Meeting
House and our other facilities, with the exception of
weddings and services of union, need
to be arranged
through
the Office Manager, Donna Bordwell.
You can contact her via telephone at (608) 233-9774 ext 110
or via e-mail at donnab@fusmadison.org. Information
about wedding and services of union arrangements
is
available here.
FUS members receive a 50% discount from our published fees; please contact Church Administrator Susan Koenig to make these arrangements. (Please note that this rate applies only for members’ private events; it does not apply to organizations to which FUS members may belong. See below for special rates for non-profit organizations.)
• Special rates are often negotiated for musical performances and recitals in return for musical support of worship services. Contact Dan Broner, Music Director for further information on this program.
• Special rates are regularly worked out with organizations which
are non-profit and whose mission or activity closely parallels our mission.
Contact our Church Administrator Susan Koenig susank@fusmadison.org for further information.
