The Human Rights Committee meets monthly from September through June. During the summer meetings are scheduled as needed. Newcomers are always welcome to committee meetings, and Human Rights Committee events.

Human Rights
The committees areas of work right now are:- Kendu Bay, Kenya project for AIDS orphans in Africa
- Women's Issues, focusing on both local and international human rights issues for women
- The Human Rights Film Series
- UU Service Committee work on International Human Rights with an emphasis on Water as a basic human right worldwide during 2005 and 2006.
