Peace and Justice Committee

Mission Statement:

The Peace and Justice Committee focuses on international peace issues, working in cooperation with existing peace groups locally and nationally, and with the UUA. We take 2 paths to promoting peace: 

Congregational Study Action Issue: Peacemaking

The Peace and Justice Committee is facilitating FUS congregational participation in this denomination-wide effort that will culminate in a Peacemaking Statement of Conscience in 2010.

New members are welcomed. The Committee meets the first Tuesday of the month from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
