First unitarian Society of Madison

Task Force For Peace and Justice

Co-Chairs:

Cynthia Wheeler, 223-0067, and Deb Knutson, 220-0649

Mission Statement:

The Peace and Justice Committee will focus on
international peace issues, working in cooperation
with existing peace groups locally and nationally,
and the UUA. The two major thrusts will be to
provide information about issues related to peace
and justice (i.e. sponsoring speakers, setting up
an information network, etc.) for the First Unitarian
Society and to provide opportunities to take action
around peace and justice issues. The Committee
as a group will model acting peacefully in a
purposeful manner.

New members are welcomed to visit the Peace and Justice Committee.

The Committee meets the first Tuesday of the month from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
For information call Cynthia Wheeler, 223-0067, or Deb Knutson, 220-0649.
